The Pentland Hills

The Pentland Hills rise steadily over the southern most suburbs of Edinburgh and stretch southwest over 20 miles to a height of 579m (Scald Law). Within these picturesque rolling hills, the mountain biker will discover ancient historical landmarks, forests, wildlife, and reservoirs.

Spectacular Views

The views are fantastic, including over the skyline of Scotland's capital city and iconic Edinburgh Castle and Arthur's Seat. To the north west you can see the Ochil Hills and the higher summits of the southern highlands, while to the south east stretch the Moorfoot Hills and the Scottish Borders.
